R.J. O’Brien & Associates, LLC (RJO), the largest independent futures brokerage in the US, announced that it has promoted Eileen Timmins to the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources, effective immediately. This is a new position at the firm.
"We are so pleased to announce Eileen’s promotion," said Gerry Corcoran, Chief Executive Officer of RJO. "Since joining RJO, Eileen has made such a significant contribution to our firm. I could not be happier for her."
Ms. Timmins has been RJO’s Vice President of Human Resources since joining the firm in May 2007. She is responsible for all of the firm’s HR functions and has initiated policy and employee benefits that have helped create a unique and favorable work environment for all RJO employees.
Prior to joining RJO, Ms. Timmins worked for JWT advertising as Senior Partner developing and implementing the human resources functions at a strategic level. Earlier in her career Ms. Timmins was Vice President, Global Human Resource at Transora, a start up e-commerce software and services company specializing in data synchronization. Ms. Timmons earned a MS from Loyola University and a BA from DePaul University.
